Art commission postcards! These are designed for if you need a "ready to gift" item where the details will be determined by their gift recipient later. Imagine -- your friend is having a baby but they don't know the name yet or the colors of the nursery. You want to gift them a beautiful custom 3-d Baby Name Sign for their new little one. Snag a custom, locally made wood art commission post card from your office and tuck it into your gift basket to have a gift to give immediately!
Now you don't have to worry about that choice! Your gift recipient will take care of choosing their colors and details after you give it to them! You just pay the invoice when it is sent!
The cards will say something like "A custom art piece has been commissioned for you from @NorthIdahoMade as a gift from our team. To coordinate custom details, approve the design, and complete the art commission, please contact northidahomade@gmail.com."
It can also say something more specific like "An 18x30" Art Piece has been commissioned for you by "name" ...please contact NorthIdahoMade to confirm your color and design selection and to complete your art commission." -- this guides the size and value of the order more specifically.
Variations on this are available - any message can be engraved and it can be signed by you personally.

Payment Options!
1) We will happily make a stack of these with no upfront art payment to keep in your office! You may elect to "pay later" when the client redeems it -- we will send you an invoice at that time for the art they choose, the precise size, the color combination they select when commissioning their piece.
The $5 you pay here to order the postcard will be credited to your invoice at the time the art is purchased.
2) You may pay in full, upfront, gift-card style. If you prefer to have an immediate tax write off or expenditure, we can assign specific dollar amounts to each wood certificate that you can then gift as desired. Dollar amounts would be applied to the client's order just as any gift certificate.
FAQ - Why is this priced at $5?
You pay $5 for the wood postcards to be engraved for you - but this price will be FULLY CREDITED to you when you pay your art-commission invoice. These are a free item with art purchase.
FAQ - I don't want a random invoice to come in to me later when I'm not ready, can I just pay for the entire art piece now and get it over with?
Yes, select "Pay Now" - in the notes let me know how much you want your art piece to be valued at and/or what dollar amount you want to gift them and we will design an appropriately worded postcard to reflect this value.
FAQ - How do I put a limit on how large of a piece is ordered without setting a dollar amount limit?
Let us know your max-limit, budget wise and we will review the art options that are within that range. We can list these sizes in the commission text to guide the client with the range of piece that is available for them to choose.
FAQ - can my client upgrade their order to a larger piece?
Yes, if you have assigned a specific size guideline to their card but the client wants to increase the size, we will confirm that the size commissioned was ___ but that they are welcome to elect for a larger size if they pay the difference in cost for the upsize.
FAQ - what happens if my client selects a smaller size?
You will only be invoiced for the size they choose!
FAQ - Can my client select artwork of a different lake than what is shown on the postcard?
Yes, any lake map can be designed, regardless of what is engraved on the postcard.
FAQ - Can this be done for other types of art? (not lake art)
Yes, leave a note with the type of art you want to purchase on their behalf. We will re-design the postcard to fit the type of art piece you want to commission.
